FAQS

What is a fiber crawl?

Sponsored and organized by the Española Valley Fiber Arts Center, our fiber crawl is modeled after many successful crawls that offer fiber enthusiasts the opportunity to visit independent yarn stores, artists’ studios, fiber centers, farms, and museums to feel, touch, and find inspiration from beautiful, unique fiber products. During the event, you will be able to meet artists, practice a hands-on skill, learn about the rich fiber arts tradition of New Mexico, and purchase fiber arts items.

How can I participate?

Pick up a passport at a participating site, or download it here. Keep that passport with you when you visit each site. Have the people at the site place their sticker in your passport. THIS PASSPORT AND THE PARTICIPATION IN THE CRAWL IS FREE AND OPEN TO EVERYONE.

What is a passport?

A passport is a mini-booklet filled with information on participating sites and their locations. The passport must be presented at each site to be stickered. Visit How to Crawl for more information.
