The City of Albuquerque Open Space Visitor Center will present an exhibit of fiber arts as part of the NM Fiber Arts Crawl, taking place from May 17th through May 19th. The exhibit itself will run through July 27th. The theme provides an opportunity for artists working in all fiber media to create an original work inspired by any aspect of the idea of “Earth Threads”: land and soil conservation, community, habitat and ecosystems, the effects of climate change on our native landscapes, the beauty of our New Mexico public lands, or anything else that inspires them to create. Fiber artists of all levels working in all media will be represented in the gallery show.

Location and Space
The Open Space Visitor Center has exhibits interpreting the natural and cultural resources the Open Space Division protects. It also features an art gallery, agricultural fields that draw a variety of wildlife and stunning views of the Sandia Mountains. 75 parking spaces.
