Take the Vehicle to the Vault enter Lloyd’s Treasure Chest, a place to explore, interact, and create folk art. Because the Museum’s entire 136,000-object collection can never be on view at the same time, collections are carefully stored and cared for in rooms such as the Neutrogena Vault, which visitors can view from the Treasure Chest gallery. Currently showing "The Basket Case,” featuring baskets and basketry from around the world, along with interactive activities and art making.
Location and Space
The Museum of International Folk Art is located on Museum Hill in Santa Fe, just the Old Santa Fe Trail. The main visitor lot provides ample free parking for the Museum of International Folk Art, The Museum of Indian Arts and Culture and Museum Hill Cafe. Additional parking is available for the Santa Fe Botanical Garden in the Overflow parking lot.
