Sunday: 10 am - 5 pm (regularly open at 11 am and close at 4 pm on Sunday)
Tierra Wools is a studio/gallery/store, as well as a school for Spinning, Dyeing, & Weaving, using traditional walking looms to make Northern Rio Grande blankets and rugs from locally produced wool/yarn. Some artists who weave and/or display their work here include Molly and Lara Manzanares, Sophia Deyapp, Nathaniel and Savannah Chavez, Charles Thompson, Fred Black, Dana Fisk-Williams, Felix Rodriquez, Kathy Strathern, Alex Grumberg, Mary Velasquez, Thea Martinez, Ashley Tafoya, Alex and Nancy Sullivan, and Toni Broaddus
Location and Space
Tierra Wools studio is located off NM 514, at 91 Main Street, Los Ojos, NM, just south of the Post Office. This is a large historic mercantile building with showrooms, a weaving room, a dye area, and numerous storage rooms. There is parking on the north side, across the street to the SE, and in front of the Church, just around the corner.
We will be giving door prizes all day Saturday during the Spring Festival.
